Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2024 Cécile Duval (née Vernier) passed away at the age of 77. Predeceased by her parents Florian “Tammy” Vernier and Bella Perreault. Predeceased by her husband Denis Duval. Beloved friend of Richard Bourdon. Loving mother of Gisele Duval. Proud grandmother of Jessica and Alex. Dear sister of George Vernier (Marg). Predeceased by her brothers Jean Claude, Johnny and René (Maureen Cummings) and her sisters Isabelle (Maurice Laniel) and Suzanne Laughren. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A Private Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A Tree of Remembrance for Cécile will be planted at the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.
