Crooks, Brent

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brent Crooks of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, QC on January 23, 2022. He leaves behind his wife Dianna Goyer Crooks and sons Brent Jr. and Jesse, grandchildren, Naala, Jordan and Avery Crooks, brothers Douglas and Fred. Brent spent 41 years working in the Arctic having built the majority of infrastructure, schools, health centers, residential and commercial and was instrumental in taking the lead of managing the construction of St. Jude’s Anglican (Igloo) Church in Iqaluit. His love of children brought him to act as Chair of the Arctic Youth Foundation. He will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Saturday June 11, 2022 at 2 pm. Funeral attendance is reserved for family members and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arctic Children’s Youth Foundation would be appreciated.
