Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 25, 2018 Ida Cowan (née Bathurst) passed away at the age of 94. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Edna Bathurst. Predeceased by her loving husband, Archie. Dearly loved and caring mother of Ruth (Jerome), Joan (FB), Jack (Pat), Margaret, Douglas (Laura Lee), Janet (Bob), James (Karen) and Joel (Lori). Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Diana. Predeceased by her sisters, Marguerite, Edna, Betty, and Sylvia. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church, 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill. Spring interment Lachute Protestant Cemetery.
