Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Saturday January 21, 2017 Carmen Charbonneau of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents Hormidas Plouffe and Marie-Ange Bedard. Beloved wife of Gaëtan Charbonneau. Loving mother of Aline Gratto (Steve), Paul (Kathleen), Michel (Lynn), Josée Mercier (Gilles) and Lucie Lepage (Yvon). Cherished grandmother of Marc (Jennifer), Melanie, Tina, Mathieu (Tanya), Natasha (Dillon), Julie (Nicolas), Benoit (Dominique), Valérie, Chris, Jessie (Brittany), Christian (Julie), Isabelle (Marc-André), Maxime (Martine) and Andréanne (Gabriel). Predeceased by her granddaughter, Natalie. Proud great-grandmother of Emma, Emerick, Piper, Mikael, Alexi, Meliane, Kathia and Daphne. Predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Nadia. Dear sister of Charlie (Georgette), Edward (Nicole), George (Jeannine), Fleurette Labreche (Paul) and Lise Draper (Earl). Predeceased by her brother, Roland Plouffe and her sisters, Évangeline Picard and Rollande Boudrias. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit at Saint-Grégoire-de-Nazianze 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Funeral at 11:00am. Spring interment St-Grégoire Cemetery, Vankleek Hill, Ontario.
