Cavanagh, Wayne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne Cavanagh of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge who died peacefully on February 27, 2026, at the age of 84. Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Stanley P. Cavanagh, former mayor of Grenville, and Myrtle Cavanagh (née Donaldson) of Grenville; and by his brothers, Perry of Calgary and Philip, who died at birth, He is survived by his former wife, Audrey Cavanagh (née Stewart) of Brownsburg and their beloved children: Shelley of Hawkesbury, Martin of Lachute, Wendy of St-Eugène and Randy of Ottawa. He also leaves behind extended family and friends, including his brother Ronnie of Île Perrot PQ, Carole-Lynn of Comox BC and Sheila of Ottawa as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory. As per his wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
