Brunette, Thérèse

The family announces the death of Mrs. Thérèse Brunette (née D’Amour), on August 22, 2023 at the age of 95. She was a native of Rigaud. She lived 47 years in St-Eugène, then 10 years in Hawkesbury, and finally 15 years at the Gappe residence in Gatineau to be closer to her family. Daughter of the late Bruno D’Amour and the late Féléxine Borgias, she was predeceased by her husband, the late Eugène Brunette as well as 3 children (baby Madeleine, Guy, Michel). She is survived by her ten children: Victor (Luba Sestak), Suzanne (Claude St-Cyr), Monique (the late Gilles Charland), Mario, Maurice, Roger (Linda McGregor), Madeleine (Maxime Gareau), Marc, Céline (Aldège Tassé), Hélène (Louis Nadeau) as well as her nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren (three more to be born in 2023). She was predeceased by a sister, Blanche and all her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. His brother Leo and his sisters Berthe and Béatrice as well as several cousins, nephews, nieces survive him. The funeral will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Parish of St-Eugène. (time to be confirmed) The family will be present at the church from 1 pm to receive condolences. The burial will take place in the cemetery of the same parish followed by a meeting at the Chute-à- Blondeau room.
