Barton, Lois

Lois Barton  passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at the age of  93. She was a beloved daughter of the late Alexandra and the late George Washington Barton. Lois was predeceased by her siblings, the late Claude (the late Jean) and the late Carl (Barbara). She was the much loved aunt to Bonnie Quinlan (Patrick), Ian Barton, Scott Barton, and the late Charles Barton. She was also a cherished great-aunt to Kortney Barton, Paul and Matthew Quinlan. Lois dedicated her life to teaching, where her passion and commitment to education touched the lives of countless students. A private family service will be held. Donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family. A Tree of Remembrance for Lois will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.
