The family of the late Bruce Barton wishes to thank everyone for their kindness during this difficult time. We thank you for the sympathy cards, flowers, food and donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. We thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their excellent care. We thank Hillcrest Funeral Home, Mark, Lisa Cheryl and Bill for their compassion and professionalism. Special thanks to Valerie Allen for conducting the private burial service. Thanks to Peter Barton and Calleigh Barton for their kind words. We thank the Vankleek Hill Fire Department for all the support that they gave our family. It would have meant so much to Bruce. To Ewen and Audrey, your gift of playing the bagpipes meant the world to us. Bruce loved the bagpipes. Valerie Allen also conducted Bruce’s Celebration of Life.
