Bain, David Stuart

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of David Stuart Bain. Born on August 9, 1947, he passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on June 27, 2024. Born and raised in Montreal, QC, David worked 34 years at CN Rail and upon retirement he moved to East Hawkesbury, ON. Dear son of the late Donald Bain and the late Martha Maidement. Survived by his brothers Robert (Julie) Bain and Richard Bain. He is also survived by his companion Shannon McDonell and adopted family Trevor, Josée, Joshua, Kaitlyn Levert, Rory, Lynn, Addison and Calla Levert. In keeping with David’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main St. S, Alexandria, ON, (613) 525-2772. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Hawkesbury General Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa General Hospital and would be greatly appreciated.
