A Hawkesbury resident is facing charges following a seizure of illegal drugs.
On Friday, July 10, 2026, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence on James St in Hawkesbury.
One person was arrested at the scene. Officers seized more than 770 tablets of suspected methamphetamine (speed). They also seized $40 in cash, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.
Lisa Quesnel, age 35 of Hawkesbury is charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
