On your mark, get set…La Baie Run!
The eighth edition of La Baie Run is taking place this Saturday, July 18.
Most of the profits from the run go to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH), while a portion also goes to the Roadrunners Athletics Club which supports youth running in the area.
There are four different races at La Baie Run. The longest, the 21K, begins at 7:30 am on Saturday. The 10K begins at 8 am, the 5K starts at 8:45 am, and the 1K starts at 9:45 am. The start and finish line is at L’Orignal Park.
Registration closes at 12 pm noon on Thursday, July 16. More information is available at www.labaierun.com.
For registered participants, race kits are available for pickup on Thursday, July 16 between 4 pm and 7 pm at Sports Experts in Hawkesbury, and on Friday, July 17 at L’Orignal Park between 4 pm and 7 pm.
