The volunteer team of Patrimoine L’Orignal–Longueuil Heritage, represented by Yvan Pagé and Louise Bédard, in collaboration with the experts at Chabo Marketing créatif, presents a newly redesigned version of www.lorignal.com. This update aims to offer a more interactive, user-friendly, and accessible platform.
The website now features two main sections, “Discover” and “Live,” which guide visitors to essential information. Users can explore the rich history of the village of L’Orignal, its attractions, and places to visit. An events calendar highlights upcoming activities, with direct links to the organizations responsible. A useful links section also provides easy access to local services, businesses, and regional resources.
The “Live” section offers practical information on municipal and regional services, parks, the marina, the Prescott and Russell cycling network, as well as community institutions such as churches, schools, the pharmacy, the food bank, and Riverest.
A new section titled “Get Involved” invites residents of all ages to volunteer with local organizations, which are always in need of support. Visitors can also contribute to the enrichment of L’Orignal’s archives, where a team of six volunteers is actively working to discover and document numerous historical documents and artifacts related to the village.
We would like to sincerely thank our valued partners for their essential financial support, including André Chabot of Chabo Marketing créatif, the Knights of Columbus, St. Jean-Baptiste Council No. 6452, and Patrimoine L’Orignal–Longueuil Heritage.
We invite the public to visit the website regularly to stay informed and discover everything L’Orignal has to offer. This new platform is designed to serve as a dynamic hub for the community, showcasing its heritage, resources, and vitality.
