Hawkesbury firefighters headed for the golden arches during the afternoon of Wednesday, February 11. Posts on social media indicated that the fire department was called to the McDonald’s at the corner of Cameron Street and Highway 17. The Review contacted the Hawkesbury Fire Department for further information but has not received a response. On Thursday, February 12, the restaurant was closed but employees were inside cleaning to prepare for reopening.
