On Saturday, February 7, residents young and old braved the bitter cold to conquer the human-made and community-famous Mont St-Bern and gather for winter festivities during the annual St-Bernardin Winter Carnival.

Many battled blistering winds to enjoy the numerous winter activities offered at the family-friendly event, warming up with hot chocolate and indoor dancing.

Activities included an outdoor skating rink, the Mont St-Bern Downhill Challenge, snowmobile rides, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Participants could also warm themselves by an outdoor fire between rides. Other crowd favourites included live entertainment by country solo artist Roger Hamelin, a magic show by Ian Quick, and bingo.

Those who stayed late into the night danced to a curated playlist by DJ Mystère and enjoyed the warm atmosphere.
