Another public consultation open house on the proposed Alto high-speed passenger train service has been added. It will take place on Thursday, January 29 at the Salle du Centre communautaire Louis-Renaud community centre in Brownsburg-Chatham.
There are two sessions. The first will take place from 11 am to 3 pm and the second will take place from 5 pm to 9 pm.
The Salle du Centre communautaire Louis-Renaud is located at 270 Route du Canton (Route 148) in St-Philippe, Brownsburg-Chatham.
The Brownsburg-Chatham Alto open house is happening on the same day as the previously scheduled open house in Vankleek Hill. Those are taking place from 11 am to 3 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre, located at 36 Mill Street East in Vankleek Hill.
The Alto route between Ottawa and Montréal has not been finalized. The corridor includes land in both the United Counties of Prescott and Russell and Argenteuil.
