On December 6, 2025, the Russell County Junior Farmers celebrated their 75th anniversary as a club with a dance in Embrun.
“We had a great turnout with Junior Farmer alumni from across Eastern Ontario”, said organizer Wyatt McWilliams of Navan. “There were so many photos and items from the past – it was a terrific trip down memory lane for everyone. The Junior Farmers Club played an important role in so many of our lives and it was just great to revisit it all.”
Event proceeds and a live auction from the evening raised $2,285 which will be sent to the Junior Farmers Association of Ontario to be put in an endowment fund to support the organization’s continuance.
A big thank you goes to Embrun Giant Tiger and St. Albert Cheese who were generous sponsors of the evening’s refreshments.
