Santa Claus arrived in L’Orignal on Saturday, November 29 when residents gathered to turn on the lights on the big Christmas tree in the centre of the village. Unlike his usual transportation of a reindeer-drawn sleigh, Santa arrived in L’Orignal as a passenger in a Ford Mustang convertible with the top down.
The lights on the big tree were switched on, and local children got to visit Santa and share their Christmas gift requests.
