On the morning of Sunday, November 9, the city of Lachute and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 70 held their Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph beside Lachute city hall. The event followed a solemn parade through downtown.

Service members, dignitaries, and residents honoured past and present members of the armed forces in a bilingual ceremony featuring prayers, poetry, and wreath-laying.
Though light snow drifted through during the ceremony, attendees braved the cold, poppies over their hearts, to honour the fallen and remember the sacrifices of veterans.

Several wreaths, donated by local organizations, businesses, and families, were placed at the base of the cenotaph, including one laid by Lachute Mayor Bernard Bigras-Denis on behalf of the city.
