On Sunday, November 2, 2025, residents of Brownsburg-Chatham voted in the municipal election to elect Gilles Galarneau as councillor for District 3, replacing incumbent Louis Quevillon. Additionally, Mayor Kévin Maurice retained his position by acclamation.
“Being elected for a third consecutive term and a second as mayor is a privilege and responsibility that I take very seriously,” Maurice said in a social media post. “I will always make decisions for the good of all, thinking ahead to what our children will need in 30 years.”
District 3 was the only seat in contention, with Galarneau taking 71.38 per cent of the vote, or 232 ballots over incumbent Quevillon’s 93. The district recorded a voter turnout of 25.11 per cent.

Quevillon served on Brownsburg-Chatham’s council from 2013 to 2017, lost his seat in 2017, and was then re-elected in 2021.
All other seats were won by acclamation, as follows:
- District 1: incumbent Pierre Baril
- District 2: Julie Gauthier
- District 4: incumbent Martine Renaud
- District 5: incumbent Marilou Laurin
- District 6: incumbent Stephen Rowland
