On Tuesday, August 12, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge (GSLR) council approved the hiring of Claudy St-Onge as the municipality’s new Director of Urban Planning and Environment.

St-Onge earned a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2020, worked as an Urban Planning and Environmental Advisor for the Municipalité Les Cèdres, and later headed the urban planning division in Rigaud for approximately three years.

St-Onge will oversee land use planning and sustainable development in the municipality, as well as direct and coordinate the work of staff in the Land Use Planning and Urban Planning Department.
