When students and staff return to Grenville Elementary School later this summer, there will be a new look to parts of the facility.

The Québec government is funding various improvements to the school building and property as part of a $1 million grant to the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board.

According to Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board Communications Consultant Julie Jasmann, the main entrance of the school is being renovated. New asphalt paving is being done at the front of the school, and in the playground area.
