Here is the opportunity to give your solar glasses a second life by donating them to children in Latin America.
Champlain Township and Champlain Public Library are collecting solar eclipse glasses so that children in Latin America can enjoy them during their eclipse in August. Please return them to the Champlain Library at 94 Main Street East in Vankleek Hill or deliver your glasses to the Champlain Township Town Hall at 948 Pleasant Corner Road East by May 1, 2024.
Glasses must not have any scratches, punctures, tears or any damage that might “compromise the protective quality of the glasses.”
