StandOurGround will host a bilingual Russell Township Municipal All-Candidates Meeting on Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Russell Arena, 1084 Concession Street.
The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about issues affecting Russell Township and to ask questions about the future of their communities.
StandOurGround is inviting residents from across the Township to attend and participate in what organizers hope will be a respectful and informative discussion.
The meeting will be conducted in both English and French.
Most candidates have already accepted StandOurGround’s invitation to participate. The organization has also invited Mayor Mike Tarnowski, who was acclaimed, to attend and address residents.
StandOurGround encourages residents to attend, bring their questions and take part in the discussion.
