The team behind St-Albert’s successful world-record plowing attempt is thanking the people and businesses whose support helped make the project possible.
Organizers are recognizing Juliette Forgues Latour, François Latour’s sister, for her role throughout the project. According to Johanne Roy, Forgues Latour was François’ “right arm” from the beginning and played the same role in his two previous Guinness World Records.
The team also thanked all the event’s sponsors, with particular recognition for Marc and Ghislain Laflèche (Ferme M. G. Laflèche), who provided their land free of charge for the Guinness World Records site in St-Albert.
Support from volunteers, sponsors, and the Laflèche family was an important part of bringing the project to the field, Roy said.
