Summer is the perfect time to get outside, and Champlain Library has plenty of ways to help you make the most of it!
If you’ve ever wanted to explore the night sky, borrow a telescope from our Library of Things. It’s just one of the unique items available to borrow with your library card, and we’re always adding new things to the collection.
Planning a day trip? Borrow one of our Ontario Parks Day Passes and discover some of the province’s beautiful parks without paying the daily admission fee. It’s a great way to enjoy nature, go for a hike, or spend a relaxing day at the beach.
Families can also enjoy one of our StoryWalks, where a children’s book is displayed one page at a time along a park path. It’s a fun way to combine reading, fresh air, and exercise! This year’s bilingual StoryWalks will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 21 at Augustin Laroque Park in Saint-Eugène and August 4 at Sacha’s Park in L’Orignal.

Happy exploring and have a great summer!
