Local history and culture from all across Prescott-Russell, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SDG), and nearby places in Québec was on display at the L’Orignal Old Jail on Saturday, June 13.

The Heritage Day event welcomed historical societies, museums, libraries, and the performing and visual arts to the Old Jail to share their activities and what their museums offer to visitors.

Admission to the L’Orignal Old Jail was free for the day on Saturday so visitors could discover Ontario’s oldest jail and history and culture from other communities nearby in Ontario and Québec.
