The Caledonia Community Centre near St-Bernardin is officially no longer a municipal facility.

On Monday, May 25, The Nation council adopted a bylaw to approve the sale of the Caledonia Community Centre and the adjacent Jean-Paul Charlebois Park to La Société historique et culturelle de St-Bernardin.

The community centre is named after the geographic township of Caledonia, which although still used for land use planning purposes, ceased to be a municipality in 2001 when it became part of The Nation in 1998.

In 2025, The Nation began the process of divesting its municipal community centres. The facilities in Fournier and St-Albert have also been sold to community organizations.

The annual St-Bernard Winter Carnival is one of the events held at the Caledonia Community Centre.
