There was a fire at house on Regent Street in Hawkesbury during the afternoon of Friday, May 29. The fire occurred on the south side of the street near the intersection with Hamilton Street. In a video submitted by a nearby individual, smoke was seen rising from the back of a house. Firefighters and police arrived, and three houses were evacuated. Hydro linemen arrived and disconnected the power to the properties. The Review will have further details about the cause of the fire and its effect upon the residents of the houses.
