The 2026 DIRT racing season has started on the Victoria Day long weekend for the local racers. Alexandria’s own Chris Raabe won the first 358 Modified feature of the year at Brockville Speedway on Saturday May 16.
“It was a great night for the Brinklow Racing 701, we set the fastest time overall in time trials, won our heat race and was able to lead all 50 laps in the feature.,” Raabe said.
It has been a bit of a slow start to the season for us, so it feels good to finally pick up a win.
The team plans to travel to Lebanon Valley New York for the Short Track Super Series Race on Thursday, May 28 and Mohawk Raceway for the season opener on Friday, before returning to Brockville on Saturday, May 30.
