The Township of North Stormont is celebrating several exciting milestones as local businesses open their doors and mark new beginnings throughout the community.

The first celebration will take place on Thursday, May 21, as The Black Owl Bistro hosts a private ribbon cutting ceremony at its new location on McLean Road. The new bistro will officially welcome the public beginning Friday, May 22, offering residents a chance to explore what is expected to become a popular new dining destination in the area.

Just days later, A Touch of Health will celebrate its grand re-opening on Monday, May 25. The wellness-focused business is reopening with renewed energy and continued dedication to supporting the health and well-being of community members.

Also on May 25, Cedar Barn Homestead will host a public grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony in Avonmore. Running throughout the day, the celebration will give residents and visitors an opportunity to experience the homestead’s offerings and discover another unique addition to the local business community.

Township officials say these events reflect the continued growth and strength of local entrepreneurship within North Stormont.

“The Township of North Stormont is proud to celebrate the growth and success of our local businesses,” said Mayor François Landry. “These milestones highlight the strength of our community and the dedication of our entrepreneurs. We encourage everyone to come out and support these exciting ventures.”

Residents are encouraged to support the businesses as they begin this new chapter and continue contributing to the local economy and community spirit.
