The annual May Show Festival is returning to Vankleek Hill on Sunday, May 17, 2026, bringing a day full of local art, vendors, food, music, entertainment, and family activities to the downtown area.
The popular spring event attracts visitors from across the region and celebrates local businesses, artisans, and community spirit in the heart of Vankleek Hill.
The May Show also includes Charlie’s Tree Parade, which provides free tree seedlings. The parade itself leaves from The Creating Centre, follows Main Street for the length of the festival area, and then returns to The Creating Centre.
To accommodate the festival, Main Street East will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Kirk Lane and Bertha Street. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and expect increased traffic in nearby areas throughout the day.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free for all visitors.
The May Show Festival is organized and presented by Excellent Events.
