The Town of Hawkesbury had 20 employees in 2025 who were paid $100,000 or more, according to the so-called Sunshine List issued under the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act.

The highest salary was for Patrick Mayer of the fire department at $204,888.99. Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Samuel Cardarelli’s yearly salary was $174,053.08. Julien Boisvenue of the fire department’s 2025 salary was $156,892.05. The remaining 17 salaries ranged from $100,427.92 to $156,739.80 for employees in the Fire, Public Works, Environmental Services, Clerk, Recreation, and Finance departments. One reason for the significant number of salaries over $100,000 at the Town of Hawkesbury is due to the town having a full-time fire department.

Nine employees of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet were paid $100,000 or more in 2025. CAO Michel Potvin was paid $170,576.01, which was the highest salary on the township payroll that year. Director of Public Works Jonathan Gendron was paid $145,245.92, and Treasurer Alexandre Charlebois salary was $139,665.62. The remaining six salaries ranged from $105,489.68 to $132,500.50.

At The Nation Municipality, 17 employees were paid $100,000 or more in 2025. The highest paid of those was CAO Pierre Leroux who earned $181,954.08. The second-highest salary was for Director of Planning Guylain Laflèche at $158,113.75. Director of Public Works Marc Legault was paid $157,859.66 in 2025. The 14 other Sunshine List salaries in The Nation Municipality in 2025 ranged from $100,397.66 to $149,827.55.

The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) had 148 employees who were paid $100,000 or more in 2025. Out of that amount, 67 employees were paramedics. The highest paid salary at the UCPR in 2025 was for CAO Stéphane Parisien, at $200,425.94. The second highest salary was Director of Emergency Services Marc-André Periard, whose department operates the paramedic service. His salary in $183,316.00. Tied for third place with a difference of just one cent were Director of Public Works Jérémie Bouchard, at $175,361.19, and Director of Planning and Forestry Louis Prévost, $175,361.18.

Public hospitals are also required to report salaries of $100,000 and greater. There were 260 hospital personnel affected in 2025. The highest salary was for Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederic Beauchemin, who was paid $319,532.16. The remaining salaries of $100,000 or more were paid to a variety of medical and administrative personnel.

At Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria, CEO Robert Alldred-Hughes had the highest salary, which was $245,426.52. There were 32 other hospital personnel who were paid $100,000 or more in 2025.
