Alexandria Moulding has selected the Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) Foundation as a charitable recipient. The company has pledged $30,000 to be donated over five years, beginning in 2026, providing $6,000 annually to support critical healthcare services. This year, Alexandria Moulding exceeded its annual pledge by contributing $8,000.
“Alexandria Moulding chose to support local healthcare because we believe strongly in giving back to the community that we’re part of. Supporting local initiatives allows us to have a direct, meaningful impact on the people who live and work alongside us every day,” said Kurt Macdonald, Branch Manager of Alexandria Moulding.
Contributions from local businesses are vital to sustaining rural healthcare. Donations to the HGMH Foundation directly fund essential medical services, purchase state-of-the-art equipment, and support ongoing improvements to patient care at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital.
Mark Adam, Chairman of the HGMH Foundation Board of Directors, expressed gratitude for Alexandria Moulding’s support.
“Alexandria Moulding’s support demonstrates the impact local employers can have on healthcare in rural communities,” Adam said.
Macdonald also emphasized the importance of business leadership in rural healthcare.
The HGMH Foundation works with community organizations and local businesses through initiatives such as Business Steps Up, which encourages companies to support vital healthcare services and medical equipment at HGMH.
