The first baby born in 2026 at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) arrived at 1:40 pm on New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1.
Vedansh Dev Dwarakraj Vijayarengan is the son of his mother Arsvhardhenee Vijayarengan, father Dwarakraj Dhuriraj Divan, and has a big sister, Rashmitha Shri.
Vedansh weighed 6 lbs., 11 ounces when he was born.
His father said Vedansh was due on January 5, but he arrived early.
“Everyone’s doing alright,” he said about his son and wife.
