The September 28 Rally for a Cause in support of Maxville Manor’s redevelopment was a resounding success, raising $71,500—and counting toward the Manor’s $11 million fundraising goal.
Hosted by the Riceville and Vankleek Hill Agricultural Societies alongside dedicated community members, the event united supporters from across the business, church, agricultural, and local communities as well as the Masonic Foundation of Ontario who all came together as champions of seniors and long-term care.
The day began with a hearty breakfast, followed by a scenic rally route filled with activities and thought-provoking challenges. It culminated in a festive celebration featuring wine and cheese, a pig roast, live music, and a powerful reminder of what a community can achieve when it rallies together for a cause that matters, one that will impact every family at one time or another.
The generosity on display exceeded all expectations, including those of the Manor’s Board and Foundation, who are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support.
Maxville Manor has entered the final stretch of its TOGETHER fundraising campaign. The momentum from this event and support from the surrounding communities that they serve, is exactly what Maxville Manor is counting on to cross the finish line and raise the remaining $1 million needed to reach their goal.
