Discover a collection of more than 100 paintings as well as works in stone, glass, silver, copper and more on exhibit as part of the Priest’s Mill Arts Centre (PMAC) Gallery’s Fall25 exhibit.
The Fall25 exhibit features well-established artists, new to the PMAC gallery, including Crystal Beshara, an internationally recognized watercolourist. Although Diane Skinner’s photographic work has taken her around the world, she is particularly fond of the deserts in Southern Africa where she has led several workshops at international photographic conferences.
Other equally well-established artists include Marlene Gill, best known for her watercolour-based textile work; Robin Patterson, whose work fills collections across North America and Susan Jephcott, with an artistic career spanning more than 60 years.
PMAC stalwarts, Lynne Ayers’s exceptional range and breadth of skill and Diane Charlebois’ mastery of watercolour works are also on show. Potter, Brenda Sutton Mader’s works never cease to please and silversmith Rain Kazymerchyk’s jewellery remains perpetually popular.
Several glass artists, including master flame workers, Alberto Greselin who has lectured at Corning Museum of Glass and Franco Tagliapietra, who boasts a family legacy of flame workers with strong roots in Murano and at the centre of Eastern Ontario’s glass blowing industry in the mid 20th century.
Among the emerging artists making their debut are Brenda Kuffner, a talented painter with works in both acrylic and watercolour are on show and Frank Schmoh who sculpts with river stone and rebar.
The exhibit also includes work by accomplished watercolourist, Hamdullah Arbab, who is showing his captivating portraiture in a Canadian gallery for the first time.
Most of the 40 artists on show are local to the region, with a few guest artists from further afield who have a legacy relationship with the Priest’s Mill Arts Centre.
The PMAC Gallery is open 10:00 to 16:00, Friday to Sunday.
