Bertha Street in Vankleek Hill has become a construction zone in recent weeks while work is being done on the street.
The sidewalk and retaining wall is being replaced on the west side of the street between Main Street and Mill Street.
The project is part of Champlain Township’s 2025 capital budget. The cost of replacing the sidewalk was estimated to cost $56,000.
