On Saturday, August 31, the annual Grand Finale was held at the Macdonell-Williamson House in Chute-à-Blondeau, near Pointe-Fortune. The occasion was hosted by the Friends of the Macdonell-Williamson House.

Attendees took part in the rigaudon—a lively, 17th-century French folk dance—performed by Martin Otis and Le Grand Portage throughout the afternoon.
The annual Grand Finale marks the final open weekend of the Macdonell-Williamson House, a distinguished national historic site originally constructed in 1817.
The season finale also included fresh local corn and homemade ice cream.
