The Friends of the Champlain Library are back with two exciting events this September that you won’t want to miss!
First up, join us for a used book sale outside the library on Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as part of the Festival of Flavours. Whether you are looking for your next great read or browsing for hidden gems, there will be something for everyone. We will have books in both English and French for adults, teens, and children, so the whole family can find something to enjoy. It is the perfect opportunity to stock up on books while exploring the festival’s delicious treats.
Then, on Wednesday, September 17 at 6 p.m., come out for Read Between the Wines at the Vankleek Hill Vineyard. For $22 per ticket, you will enjoy a glass of wine while meeting five local authors who will read excerpts and share insights about their books. Tickets are available at the library, The Cottage, and The Review. It is a unique chance to connect with the local literary scene in a relaxed setting.
All proceeds from both events go toward a new community bulletin board outside the library, helping to keep everyone informed about upcoming local events and opportunities.
