A new dog park has opened at Parc de la Nature in Brownsburg-Chatham.

The fully enclosed space features platforms, obstacles, and a shaded area for hot days, along with benches for owners to watch their four-legged friends play off-leash.

Dogs must be vaccinated, treated for parasites, wear their tags, and remain under supervision at all times.

On June 3, 2025, Brownsburg-Chatham council unanimously awarded the fence installation contract to Gazon McKenza for $14,920.

The park officially opened to residents on August 1.
