On Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, families gathered at Parc Barron in Lachute for fun, games, and entertainment during the 2025 edition of Lachute en fête.

The annual summer event brought together local organizations, food vendors, and live entertainment in one convenient location, offering something for all ages.

Friday’s festivities kicked off with an evening of music featuring performances by the Red Carpet Band, King Melrose, and the Boogie Wonder Band.

The celebrations continued Saturday with youth shows, more live music, and a wide selection of children’s activities. Booths were hosted by groups including the Lachute Army Cadets, Lachute Curling Club, and the Women Immigrants of Canada Network, alongside inflatable games and obstacle courses.

Children also enjoyed a miniature go-kart track, two trains, and the Magic of Chemistry show by Yannick Bergeron.
