With temperatures in the low 30’s Celsius on Saturday, July 12, the annual Porchfest was a scorchfest in Vankleek Hill!
Porches and lawns around town served as stages for 25 different live musical acts of all genres during the afternoon. Audiences enjoyed relaxing in the shade to hear everything from folk to country and blues.
In 2024, the Vankleek Hill Live Music Co-Op was formed to continue bringing Porchfest and other live music to town. During the 2025 event on July 12, volunteers introduced each performer at each location. There was also lots of free water and sunscreen to help audiences stay cool and safe.
