The community of Casselman is coming together to support Canadian veterans through a special Homes for Heroes fundraising event on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

This event aims to raise crucial funds to support the construction of tiny home villages that provide safe, affordable, and supportive housing for military veterans transitioning to civilian life.

The event promises a day of community spirit and entertainment, with live music, local vendors, food trucks, silent auctions, and special guest appearances. All proceeds will benefit the Homes for Heroes Foundation, a national organization dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in Canada.

The event takes place at the J.R. Brisson Complex located at 758 Brebeuf Street in Casselman. Doors open at 10 am. There is a Veteran Vendor Show from 10 am to 4 pm, family activities from 10 am to 6 pm, and live bands from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Homes For Heroes works directly with veterans to support them on their journey back to stability and independence. With several successful villages already built across Canada, the foundation is now expanding its impact—one community at a time.
