There were no broncos or chuckwagon races at this rodeo, but there were bicycles!
On Thursday, June 12, more than 150 young cyclists participated in the first Bicycle Rodeo held at École élémentaire catholique Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire in Crysler.
Cyclists were given a safety presentation, each bike was inspected, and there was a practice course for the students to follow. An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer discussed bicycle and road safety with the students.
The speed bump on the practice course was really popular with the students.
