The people who drive road maintenance vehicles for municipal departments of public works have to be skilled to do their job, and once a year, they compete to show who is best skilled. On Monday, May 6, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) hosted the Eastern Ontario Road Supervisors Association “ROADEO” in Fournier. Mathieu Tierney of the UCPR Department of Public Works won the gold medal and will represent Eastern Ontario at the provincial competition later this year. Justin Bergeron of the UCPR finished third in the competition.
