A major redevelopment project has started for the tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts at Parc Ayers in Lachute. Starting this summer, residents will be able to enjoy the transformed facilities, combining fun, comfort, and safety. This project is part of the growing popularity of tennis, pickleball, and basketball among residents of all ages. Steady use of the courts in recent years has confirmed the interest. The modernization of the facilities will meet this growing demand while allowing for optimal use of the site. The renovation represents a total investment of $1,250,000. It is one of the key projects presented in the 2025 municipal budget.
“We are proud to launch this exciting project, which will help enrich the sports offerings in our area and encourage an active lifestyle for all,” said Lachute Mayor Bernard Bigras-Denis.
The fields will be temporarily closed for a few weeks to allow for the work to be completed. The reopening date will be announced as soon as progress permits.
