Police are investigating a collision involving a school transportation van and another vehicle in North Glengarry.

On Wednesday, May 7, shortly before 7:30 a.m. Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G)  Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on County Road 30 involving a student transportation van and a car.

The initial investigation found that the car collided with the van. There were two students on the bus at the time. As a precautionary measure the driver of the school van and students were transported to hospital. The driver of the passenger vehicle was also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The SD&G OPP continue to investigate, with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and a Collision Reconstructionist.
