Students of Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (VCI) ran a drive-through donation effort on November 29 and 30, collecting donations for those in the community who are in need this holiday season.

Partnering with the Valoris Foundation this year, students collected goods, including non-perishable food items, new toys, cash, and gift cards off Highway 34. All items will be used to make gift baskets for underprivileged individuals in the region as part of the Valoris Christmas Elves Campaign.

Students successfully raised over $1,800 in donations within a few hours on the first day, with the final number expected to grow.
