One of the earliest guignolée’s of the season took place in Lachute on Saturday, November 16. Organized by the Centre d’entraide d’Argenteuil, donations of food, clothing, and cash were collected by volunteers making door-to-door rounds or collecting cash at selected intersections around town. A warehouse on rue Lowe in the industrial park was busy with volunteers receiving and sorting donated items.
Lachute residents requiring a food basket this Christmas season are asked to contact 450-562-5151 and make an appointment.
