After many months of being closed and drivers having to follow a lengthy detour, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (the “UCPR”) has reopened the Cobb’s Lake Bridge located along County Road 2 (Russell Road) between Bourget and Curran.

“Every year, we make improvements to our road network to ensure that road users reach their destinations safely. Cobb’s Lake Bridge needed major work, which went ahead as planned. We thank the community for their patience during the bridge rehabilitation,” said Jérémie Bouchard, Director of Public Works.

Work on the bridge began in March 2024. Due to the major rehabilitation of the bridge structure, lanes in both directions were closed for the duration of construction.
